It is important not only to focus on the overall look and feel of the party, but the food!  After all, food is the way to the heart!  Which leads us to our next tip...

   3.      Food for Everyone! With dietary restrictions being more the norm than the exception these days. If you're having a small get together, check in with guests to ensure you've covered any allergies or dietary restrictions. For larger gatherings cover the bases by ensuring there are entrée options (or enough side dishes to equate to a meal) for guests who may be gluten free, dairy free, or vegetarian are essential (this goes for appetizers and desserts too). Check out our Pinterest page for menu inspiration!

   4.            Beverages The same idea goes for beverages. Easily accessible water, one or two special non-alcoholic beverages such as ice tea, lemonade, Sanpellegrino Italian fruit beverage , or standard soda selection (at least one clear, one regular, one diet). If you are serving alcohol, beer, wine or a specialty cocktail are great. One or two options is all that is necessary. Though a full bar is always nice, you will likely need a designated “bartender” if you choose to go this route.

Some great activity ideas are bocce ball, ping pong, board games, table topics, cookie decorating or cooking together.
